The Magic Fountain of Montjuic

I am back in cold, windy Norway after a week of enjoying the sun in beautiful Barcelona. It was my first time in Spain, and I think we managed to squeeze as many tourist attractions as we could into seven days!  My friend who I travelled with had never been to Barcelona either, so we wanted to see and experience as much as possible. I have a lot of great pictures to share with you, so stay tuned.. One of the highlights of the trip was the beautiful magic fountain of Montjuic. Designed by Charles Buigas, it was built for the Universal Exhibition in 1929. With spectacular light shows and music, this is one of the things you simply cannot miss if you’re ever in Barcelona.

Well, I don’t usually like anything made after 1927. Only because I feel everything was just rehashed tacky versions of what came before. But I got to say, I’ll let this one go. It looks great. Definitely full of magic. I only visited Madrid, so I missed this completely. Looks cool though. Is that you casting a moon spell at the bottom?
